So much has happened since last post

So where to begin. Well I can tell you that we have moved from suburban life to country life, which let me tell you is so peaceful. I believe it was something I truly needed to do. I am more calmer than I have been in a long time, although I still seem to have a lot on my plate. It is not something I mind, because it helps to keep me busy and keep my mind off the cancer when I don't need to think about it. Creating crafts is a big help, it is my way of coping with all that is going on.

So just to give you a run down of all that has happened since my last post, as I mentioned we have moved, I have an appointment with a specialist who deals with my type of cancer and the bone marrow transplant that I will need to go through. I will be seeing her on the 24th, so I will know more then. Wellness Through Creativity is going strong, we are still a small group and I would love to see it grow, I'll talk more about that later. I am also in the process of setting up an online store, that will offer both crafting items and limited edition kits, which will be sold at a lower that Suggested Retail Price. I will also be creating a finished gift shop, with finished items that would be great for gift giving.

I will also be posting a gallery of items that I have created for swaps and trips that I have taken to other fairs. If you have never been to a craft fair, you really need to go. The inspiration and the ideas that you see only help to get the juices flowing and want to make you try something new. Although I had a few who were not willing to talk or even let you take pictures, most of the vendors I met were very friendly and gave great advice. I will be posting those pictures in my gallery on my website.

As stated before I wanted to let people know about Wellness Through Creativity, WTC. Although the group is geared toward those with medical issues, we would love to see others join. Instead of have to make sure swaps are out in a months time we do ours every two months for our one-on-one swaps, and for group swaps which we do change up are one month swaps. There are a lot of swap groups out there and I know that a lot of people are in more than one group, so it can be hard to get everything done in a months time. Most of us have a life going on around us that need to get done, beside those who are sick we have even more to think about. Also we do our best to start away from the drama, which seems to happen a lot in groups. I do my best to stay away from it as much as I can, seeing I have enough of my own problems to deal with I do not need to deal with yours, end of story.

So with a fresh start and a new life ahead of me, I am going to start all things new. I will be starting a new Blog called Catnaps' Crafts. When I get it up and running I will be doing a give away in three stages, trust me you will want to be a  part of  it. My YouTube will stay the same, and hopefully soon I will be able to start doing videos again. I have some great ideas for mini albums that I would love to share. The web site with the stores will also be brand new, however the opening of the stores may have to wait a bit as I will be going into the hospital for anywhere from six to eight weeks. I am also hoping I will be able to bring my laptop with me, as I will try and do a post everyday of what is going on.

New Crafting Ning Group ~ Wellness Through Creativity

A brand new type of crafting Ning Group has opened up. Giveaway at my YouTube Site ~ Closed
